Our Public Access Training for Barristers is the only on-demand eLearning accredited by the Bar Standards Board, following a two-year assessment. Other BSB-accredited providers deliver live sessions; Briefed delivers on-demand eLearning.

"We have been quoted less elsewhere."

Almost certainly. Generic compliance providers with off-the-shelf content generally price lower. What they do not offer is a team of in-house barristers, Bar-specific content, BSB-accredited Public Access training, LOCS:23-approved training, or benchmarking insight across 150+ sets. The cheaper quote is for a different service.

"We are a small set. Can we afford this?"

We work with sets of all sizes. Our pricing reflects your chambers — a smaller set does not pay for services it will not use. The best starting point is a conversation. We will scope something proportionate and give you a clear figure before you decide anything.

"Can we just manage compliance in-house?"

Many sets do. The challenge is that compliance rarely sits with someone whose sole job it is. When regulatory expectations change, when a complaint arrives, or when the BSB asks for evidence, the cost of being unprepared tends to be higher than the cost of getting it right. That is a judgement call, and we would rather help you make it than push you into something you do not need.

"How do we justify the cost to our management committee?"

We can help with this directly. Our proposals are structured to make the case clearly. Most management committees respond better to risk framing than cost framing. The potential cost of a BSB investigation, an EDI complaint, or a data breach is almost always a stronger argument than the price of ongoing compliance support.
