Designed to support those working at the Bar to create a safe and respectful work environment, free from any form of bullying or harassment.
By completing this training, you will gain a deeper understanding of what constitutes as bullying and harassment and learn how to identify, prevent, and respond to these behaviours effectively.
What will you learn?
- How to identify, prevent and tackle the negative behaviours classified as bullying and harassment.
- Know where to seek practical support, guidance and reporting structures as a victim.
- Know the appropriate action to take as a witness.
- Understand the importance of fostering a positive work culture to enhance working life in chambers.
- Understand the relevant Code of Practice, regulatory and legal implications of bullying and harassment.
Our training meets all recommendations as outlined in Baroness Harriet Harman’s KC Report, specifically Recommendation 4, which details what Anti-Bullying and Harassment Training should include. However, with all our training, we ensure they are updated regularly to be reflective of any new reports, guidance, and as such, we have added an additional lesson to highlight what the report covered and recommended.
