Role: Junior Consultant Barrister

The role of junior consultant barrister is a fantastic chance to work and grow alongside a high-performing and enthusiastic team of barristers and multi-media production experts focused on providing high-quality training, certification, and compliance support services for the legal sector and businesses across the UK.
Main Purpose of the role
Supporting the business in consultancy and certification processes for clients. Ensuring all consultancy work is delivered and that the business, along with its products and services, are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
Consultancy:
- Delivering all consultancy work to clients, including but not limited to:
- Support queries
- Gap Analysis/Audits
- LOCS:23 Certification
- Product development research
- Assisting clients to attain B-Corp Status
- Ensuring all consultancy is delivered to a high standard and satisfies the clients requirements.
- Providing a solution as quickly and efficiently as possible to clients so that the work is profitable.
- Ensure clients receive an exceptional level of service and excellent customer experience.
- Provide solution focused positive outcomes for clients.
- Identifying opportunities to promote Briefed’s services and products to clients and prospective clients.
- Ensuring the team follows up with clients after consultancy work to confirm they are happy with the service and to maintain the relationship.
Legal Research:
Product development:
- Research, write and handover training content in line with the product development timeline plan.
- Find new case study examples and updates throughout the year which can be used to refresh the training annually.
- Review training and alert Head of Operations to any inaccuracies.
General:
- Maintain knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations to ensure the team are aware of any developments which may affect our services or training.
The candidate:
- Experience in GDPR, company governance and/or cyber experience is desirable.
- 1 year post qualified candidates or someone with applicable experience will be considered.
- Should have experience working in a corporate environment.
- Keen to travel for work and team trips.
- Comfortable in a client facing role both in person and on the phone.
- Able to contribute new ideas and suggestions for both sales meetings, marketing ideas and wider business meetings.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Excel and spreadsheet manipulation.
- Being a good team player, both with clients and within the firm.
- Performing all duties in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner.
- Quickly communicating relevant matters to the team, especially problems, difficulties, or mistakes.
- Should thrive in taking complete ownership of client projects and opportunities.
