Prevention of Sexual Harassment at the Bar (Essentials)

Clerks and chambers staff work in environments where they are constantly engaging with barristers, clients and other professionals across a range of settings in chambers, at work events, social occasions or even online.

These everyday interactions can, at times, blur professional boundaries and create circumstances where inappropriate behaviour may occur or go unreported. In line with the changes to the Worker Protection (Amendment of Equality Act 2010), which place greater responsibility on chambers and senior leaders to protect all members and staff from sexual harassment, this course is designed to ensure chambers staff understand what constitutes sexual harassment and the forms it can take.
