Helping barristers and chambers understand how unconscious bias can creep into life at the Bar.
Each person will have subconscious thoughts which define people into social groups and categorise those who do not belong as ‘other’. This behaviour is unavoidable, but becomes a problem when unconscious biases lead us to unfair and incorrect judgements being made about others’ talents or character.
This training aims to explore these types of discrimination, how they can manifest at the Bar, and how they can impact your clients and colleagues.
