Briefed have made it our mission to educate and inspire the next generation of governance professionals. The role of the company secretary is gaining visibility, but it hasn’t always been a well-known career path.
Governance Insight Days give early-career talent the chance to explore the profession from the inside — through real-world conversations, practical experiences, and exposure to diverse industries.
Our free-to-attend half-day events involve partnering with governance functions of leading global companies, inviting students and graduates to attend and spend time learning about the role of the company secretary, the wider career, related qualifications, and networking.
Since 2016 we have run over 75 Insight Days and inspired over 1000 students and graduates to consider a rewarding career in governance.
Larger, panel-led sessions featuring cross-sector governance leaders.
Digital LinkedIn-ready certificates for attendees.
Hands-on sessions with governance tech, led by Diligent, exploring tools and the role of AI in modern governance.
Continued client-hosted insight days giving direct exposure to workplace environments.
We’re excited to be partnering with PwC and Diligent to host two large events, bringing together a panel of experienced governance professionals from a range of industries. These events will provide attendees with the opportunity to hear how various sectors are addressing legal and governance challenges—and to ask questions directly to our expert speakers.
We’re also running five smaller, in-person events at the head offices of our corporate hosts.
These sessions will be more informal, offering a chance to connect, share experiences and explore practical solutions in a smaller group setting.
Full details, including dates and locations, will be shared soon.

At each insight day, our education partner, Kensington College of Business (KCB), will be offering one free place on their highly regarded Certificate in Company Secretarial Practice—a valuable opportunity for anyone looking to deepen their expertise and advance their career.
