Vacancy details

Briefed are delighted to support one of our FTSE250 clients in their search for a Board Coordinator & Executive Assistant. In this role, you will support the Company Secretary and Board with precision, pace, and proactivity. You’ll be the engine behind the scenes, anticipating needs, managing complex schedules, and keeping board operations running like clockwork.

Responsibilities

  • Own the corporate calendar, key deadlines, and high-level meeting logistics (Board, GEC, Committees)
  • Coordinate, compile, and quality-check board packs via Diligent (or similar)
  • Be the go-to for Non-Executive Directors, managing their engagement across events, CPD, and compliance
  • Act as a confident EA to the Company Secretary—handling diary, travel, and inbox management with zero micromanagement
  • Keep the board ticking and our governance slick, with attention to detail and assertiveness in every interaction

The ideal candidate

  • Exceptional organizational skills and relentless follow-through
  • Experience supporting senior executives or Boards (financial services preferred)
  • A calm, deadline-driven presence—even in high-stakes moments
  • The ability to juggle competing priorities and stay 3 steps ahead
  • Confidence to work autonomously while staying locked into team goals
  • Ability to drive efficiencies in Diligent
  • Qualified with the CGI (preferred)
  • Background in financial services (preferred)
