Briefed are pleased to support one of our most unique and influential clients in their search for a Deputy Company Secretary. This is a critical position playing a key leadership role and shaping governance at the highest level. 

In a nutshell… 

  • Lead the smooth running of Boards & Committees
  • Champion best-in-class corporate governance practices
  • Advise senior stakeholders including the CEO and Committee Chairs
  • Mentor and support junior team members
  • Drive governance innovation and horizon scanning

The ideal candidate… 

  • Fully qualified with a minimum of 6 years’ experience in a LTD or PLC environment
  • Demonstrable senior stakeholder engagement with Boards and Executives
  • Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
  • Deep knowledge of the UK Corporate Governance Code
  • Organised, sharp, and calm under pressure
  • Immediately available to start a role (September 2025)

Offering a salary of £90,000-£105,000 (dependent on experience), bonus, and wider benefits inclusive of hybrid working.
