At the Bar, racism is a complex and difficult subject to engage with. However, all chambers are expected to evaluate and strengthen their commitment to anti-racism, as set out in requirements by the Bar Standards Board.
After consulting with industry experts and individuals who have a personal understanding of experiences with racism at the Bar, Briefed has launched this Bar-specific Anti-Racism Training to support chambers and barristers in meeting their mandatory requirements.
The module aims to give you an understanding of the issues around race, how this can affect your colleagues at the Bar, and an opportunity to self-reflect and explore further conversation within your chambers and wider networks.
